For a shop-in-shop store in a well-known department store in London, we are looking for an experienced Sales Associate with an affinity for jewellery and the universe of Wouters & Hendrix.

Achter dat verhaal schuilt een team dat elke dag zorgt dat de cijfers even scherp kloppen als het design. Voor dat team zoeken we een Junior Accountant die mee wil groeien in een boeiende, veelzijdige rol.

JOUW ROL

Als Junior Accountant ben je een belangrijke schakel in de financiële administratie van Wouters & Hendrix. Je werkt nauw samen met de Senior Accountant en ondersteunt vooral bij de dagelijkse en periodieke boekhoudkundige processen.

JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

Je takenpakket bestaat onder meer uit:

• Verwerken en opvolgen van aankoop- en verkoopfacturen.
• Ondersteunen bij het beheer van crediteuren en debiteuren.
• Voorbereiden en uitvoeren van bankverrichtingen en bankreconciliaties.
• Mee opvolgen van betalingen, openstaande posten en herinneringen.
• Ondersteunen bij grootboekboekingen en algemene boekhoudkundige administratie.
• Voorbereidend werk leveren voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
• Assisteren bij de voorbereiding van btw-aangiftes en andere fiscale verplichtingen.
• Mee verzamelen en controleren van informatie voor rapporteringen.
• Ondersteunen bij auditvoorbereidingen en het aanleveren van documentatie.
• Meedenken over verbeteringen in administratieve en financiële processen.

JOUW GROEIPAD

We zoeken iemand die niet alleen de operationele boekhouding mee wil ondersteunen, maar ook de ambitie heeft om zich verder te ontwikkelen. Onder begeleiding van de Senior Accountant bouw je stap voor stap kennis en verantwoordelijkheid op richting complexere taken: financiële rapportering en analyse, volwaardige maand- en jaarafsluitingen, btw- en complianceprocessen, budgettering en forecasting, en interne controles. Het doel: op termijn zelfstandig een bredere boekhoudkundige rol opnemen binnen het team.

WIE ZOEKEN WE? 

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende profiel:

• Je hebt een bachelor in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit, Financiën, Boekhouding of een gelijkaardige richting.
• Je hebt een eerste werkervaring van minimum 2 jaar in boekhouding of finance.
• Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en discreet.
• Je hebt oog voor detail en houdt ervan dat cijfers kloppen.
• Je bent leergierig en wil groeien binnen accounting.
• Je kan goed samenwerken en durft vragen te stellen.
• Je hebt een praktische, hands-on ingesteldheid.
• Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel.
• Ervaring met boekhoudsoftware en/of Odoo is een plus, maar geen must.

SALES AND MARKETING INTERN

To strengthen the team in Antwerp, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Intern.

ABOUT WOUTERS & HENDRIX

Wouters & Hendrix have been designing and making uncommon jewellery in their Antwerp atelier since 1984. Born in an avant-garde moment, we bend the rules of traditional jewellery making and wearing. Subtle rebels with a love for surrealism, we are drawn to unexpected combinations of materials and techniques, gently adorning your body with tales in silver and gold. We design and produce in our in-house atelier in Antwerp in a sustainable way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will work in close collaboration with our marketing & sales managers in the day-to-day running of our brand.
• You will assist on PR requests from journalists and stylists from A to Z. This means you follow up on loan requests or image requests, send jewellery to stylists and answer to price requests. You also keep the press database up-to-date and archive clippings.
• As an organizational talent, you like to help to organize our showroom, events, and campaigns.
• You will assist the sales team during the showroom period (making sure the collection is in order, all samples are in the present, line sheets are updated).
• You will assist in setting up digital campaigns.
• You will conduct competitive analysis and research on market trends, price-points, and promotions. You will help with the monthly e-commerce marketing reports as well as ad hoc analysis.
• You will assist in daily administrative tasks.

PROFILE
