The story behind the jewel

Wouters & Hendrix collections have always been full of symbols referencing Belgian surrealism. The key in the 'La Fête des Bêtes' collection is a reference to René Margritte, as it occurs in his paintings, but also an indirect interpretation of his tendence to display ordinary objects in an unusual context. Something that has inspired Wouters & Hendrix' design process.
