Surrealistic elements frequently characterize the creations of Wouters & Hendrix. Besides the humour, the transformation concept of the art movement also challenges us during the design process. We like to give classic jewellery designs a surprising twist, which results in new interpretations. In 1998, for the 'A New Vocabulary' collection, we created a choker necklace in fine silver that resembled knitwear. In 2010, we took it one step further by casting soft woollen knits in silver for the 'Liquid Shapes' collection. The irregular structure of knitwear surprisingly shines through in a bracelet that combines softness and hardness. A subtle trompe-l'oeil that playfully transforms your wrist. Now, the bracelet is part of our 'Les Eternelles' collection as it is a design to have and to hold forever.
