The story behind the jewel

Inspired by truly iconic Wouters & Hendrix elements like the surrealist chessboard inlay work, these handpainted candle holders are a beautiful conversation starter that brings a sense of surprise to everyday existence. The set includes a red and off-white and a black and off-white checkered holder, and a malachite spherical holder – a perfect addition to any table setting.

Since 1984, Wouters & Hendrix has taken shape in a continuous dialogue with surrealist symbolism and outstanding craft in their Antwerp atelier. Now they venture into new territory with the launch of their first-ever home jewellery collection, in collaboration with Belgian brand Serax: “Les Objets Mouleversants”, a line of tabletop treasures characterised by the same irreverent spirit of playful subversion and artistic exploration that defines their jewellery.
